For this special first masked edition of The Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses Monte-Carlo in Venice, guests are invited to enter a world of royal elegance, mystery, and timeless Venetian splendour. Inspired by the refinement of Monte-Carlo, the grandeur of European royal courts, and the legendary tradition of the Venetian Carnival, the evening celebrates sophistication, glamour, princely traditions, and the art of disguise. The mask is an essential element of The Royal Masquerade, creating an atmosphere of mystery and allowing identities to remain concealed throughout the evening.
LADIES are invited to choose between:
Exquisite 17th-century Venetian-inspired dresses, evoking the grandeur of the aristocratic women of La Serenissima, interpreted with luxurious fabrics, embroidery, lace, elaborate silhouettes, and contemporary haute-couture refinement; or
Magnificent couture evening gowns, floor-length and worthy of a royal gala, enhanced with tiaras, diadems, royal jewellery, elegant gloves, refined headpieces, or other exceptional couture details.
A magnificent Venetian mask is mandatory and should be elegant, luxurious and worthy of a Royal Masquerade.
GENTLEMEN are invited to choose between:
Luxurious 17th-century Venetian-inspired aristocratic attire, evoking the noble gentlemen of La Serenissima through sumptuous fabrics, embroidered coats, waistcoats, breeches, lace, capes, and refined historical details;
Ceremonial military uniforms, where appropriate;
White tie, with the highest level of formal royal elegance; or
Impeccable black-tie attire worthy of a princely gala.
A distinguished and luxurious Venetian mask is compulsory for gentlemen as well.
The mask should not simply be an accessory, but an integral part of the evening, concealing identity and transforming the Grand Ball into an unforgettable night of princes, princesses, intrigue, and splendour in La Serenissima.
