For this special first masked edition of The Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses Monte-Carlo in Venice, guests are invited to enter a world of royal elegance, mystery, and timeless Venetian splendour. Inspired by the refinement of Monte-Carlo, the grandeur of European royal courts, and the legendary tradition of the Venetian Carnival, the evening celebrates sophistication, glamour, princely traditions, and the art of disguise. The mask is an essential element of The Royal Masquerade, creating an atmosphere of mystery and allowing identities to remain concealed throughout the evening.

LADIES are invited to choose between:

Exquisite 17th-century Venetian-inspired dresses, evoking the grandeur of the aristocratic women of La Serenissima, interpreted with luxurious fabrics, embroidery, lace, elaborate silhouettes, and contemporary haute-couture refinement; or
Magnificent couture evening gowns, floor-length and worthy of a royal gala, enhanced with tiaras, diadems, royal jewellery, elegant gloves, refined headpieces, or other exceptional couture details.
A magnificent Venetian mask is mandatory and should be elegant, luxurious and worthy of a Royal Masquerade.

GENTLEMEN are invited to choose between:

Luxurious 17th-century Venetian-inspired aristocratic attire, evoking the noble gentlemen of La Serenissima through sumptuous fabrics, embroidered coats, waistcoats, breeches, lace, capes, and refined historical details;
Ceremonial military uniforms, where appropriate;
White tie, with the highest level of formal royal elegance; or
Impeccable black-tie attire worthy of a princely gala.
A distinguished and luxurious Venetian mask is compulsory for gentlemen as well.

The mask should not simply be an accessory, but an integral part of the evening, concealing identity and transforming the Grand Ball into an unforgettable night of princes, princesses, intrigue, and splendour in La Serenissima.

The emotional experience of a grand Gala Dinner will be held in iconic and ravishing venues and will be graced by significant personalities from the film industry, business and political figures, academics, professionals and entrepreneurs.

Welcome Cocktail reception will be waiting for the guests with an exceptional entrance. We wish to make our guests feel at home with a glamorous welcome drink that will not only jazz up and prepare them for the international Gala to come, but also welcome them into the mood.

By attending the event, each guest authorises the company NOBLE MONTE-CARLO to use their image taken with any photographic or video device. This concession is intended for commercial, advertising and promotional purposes as part of the event. The participants are strongly advised to respect the privacy of other guests.

Getting to Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal in Venice:

To get to the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal in Venice, you must navigate a city divided into two distinct zones: the mainland automotive zone and the historic car-free lagoon.Because cars and land vehicles cannot enter the historic center, your journey will always involve transitioning to water transport at one of Venice’s main arrival hubs. Your final destination is the area right next to St. Mark’s Square.

🚗 Arriving by Car:
You cannot drive directly to the hotel. Venice is completely pedestrianized. You must drive across the bridge connecting the mainland to Venice and park your vehicle at one of the large parking terminals at the edge of the city (such as the car terminals or the nearby artificial island dedicated to parking). Alternatively, you can park on the mainland. Once your car is parked, you must transfer to a public water bus or a private water taxi to travel down the Grand Canal to the hotel, which sits near the mouth of the lagoon.

🚂 Arriving by Train:
Venice has two main railway stations, but you need to stay on the train until the final stop on the island. Ensure your train takes you across the lagoon bridge to the historic island terminal station. Do not get off at the mainland industrial station. The train station exits directly onto the Grand Canal. Right outside the station doors, you can board a public water bus or a private water taxi that will take you down the canal directly to the hotel’s neighborhood.

✈️ Arriving by Plane:
Air travelers usually arrive at the primary international airport located on the mainland lagoon shore, though some regional flights use a secondary airport further inland. After landing, you have two main pathways to reach the hotel. You can either take a boat directly from the airport water docks across the lagoon to the hotel pier, or you can take a land bus from the airport terminal over the bridge to the Venice car terminal, and transfer to a water bus from there.

🚕 Arriving by Taxi:
Because Venice relies on both roads and canals, “taking a taxi” involves two completely different systems depending on where you are. Land Taxis: Standard wheeled taxis can bring you from the airports or mainland locations, but they can only drop you off at the main car terminal at the entrance of the city. They cannot go any further. Water Taxis: These are private, motorized boats. You can hail or book a water taxi from the airport docks, the train station, or the car terminal. A water taxi is the only vehicle that can drive through the canals and drop you off directly at the hotel’s private water dock.
